kids 2day..

lets talk about kids 2day.
its natural that kids now are different from kids back in the 80's and 90's(my time)..
for example, my 1 year 2 months old baby already good at using ipad, my 7 year old can purchase things from internet, my 5 year can read all kinds of ebooks,my 3 year old can learn how to read by using many types of medias, etc..
kids2day are definitely smarter than kids 20 years ago. but they also 'lost' many things that we had back then.this is 1 example of what they lost.

yesterday night my boys heard something. they were amazed by it, and said that the voice is like 'night sound' in movies. i didnt realize it at first, then i tried to listen carefully and..
well, i heard the sound of a cricket! yeah,inside our house! then abi found the cricket near our little pound. it was just 1 cricket, but sound like thousands!
the boys were very 'in to it' that they forgot their usual- gadget activities- and play with their abi, near the pound..of course, i didnt join them coz nature isnt my 'thing'.

Anyway it was nice to hear that cricket sound again,hope we'll be able 2 hear it again in many years ahead.

it also reminds me that kids are easily amazed by simple things, and you only need to open your eyes, ears, and mind to find some valuable lessons for them in nature..its around you, its available and it doesnt cost you anything
